1930's Literature
While we are working with the 1930's you have the opportunity to earn some extra credit by reading the book The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. You will need to read the whole book and then write an essay of at least 1500 words explaining what Steinbeck is saying about the Great Depression and the group of people he chooses to highlight. I am here to help you accomplish this. You should be able to find a copy of this book in the library. You can also get it from Barnes and Noble for about 10.00 dollars. This book is the best example of some the hardships that people went through during this time period.
