Assessment
Teachers use multiple methods of assessment to engage learners in their own growth, monitor learner progress, guide planning and instruction, and determine whether the outcomes described in content standards have been met.
The plan exhibits my unique understanding and desire to utilize assessment tools through out my teaching and my comprehension of both types of assessment: formative and summative. It also show how I planned to adapt my assessment philosophy for the unique needs of my students at Granite Park Junior High School. It also shows that while I want them to gain greater communication skills and I am willing to use more authentic assessments to help students gain these skills in a more hands on and applied fashion.
